Four CCI clowns have been invited to travel with Rotary on their annually trip to Ethiopia for National Immunization Day – giving oral polio vaccines to children.
(Since 1982, Rotary clubs have been making these trips around the world and have been responsible for wiping out polio in the world by 99.6 %.)
In addition to clowning in Ethiopia, the group will travel to Uganda to be involved as Rotary does other projects to help people (such as building huts for families.)
The cost for each traveling clown for this three week trip of a life time is $5,000. CCI does not pay for personal travel, so each clown has to come up with his/her own travel money.
You can help by donating on the site. CCI will provide you a receipt useful for tax deductions within the scope of the law.
And…WE THANK YOU!!!
