We pull the brow at noon
And off back through the channel

Again, on the flight deck
Empty, with aircraft gone

Crew has removed the catapult launch
cylinders for maintenance
Blast fences raised for maintenance, too

Going up the coast soon
Expecting rollers by mid evening

Then, we hit it
Rollers
She is big and stable
But feeling some roll and pitching
Agitated seas and howling winds

Am told we have changed course to avoid storms
Still expecting twenty foot seas in about an hour

(I am off to bed to get rocked to sleep)
